About Me
My Background
I am a British filmmaker and multimedia creative based in Manchester, UK. Raised in Stockport, my fascination with cinema was sparked early by a family introduction to both modern blockbusters and timeless classics like Jason and the Argonauts. This blend of classical techniques and modern spectacle drove my admiration for the art of visual storytelling.
I initially stepped into the industry as an actor, appearing in numerous local stage productions and winning a N.O.D.A award for Best Youth Comedy Performance in 2019. However, realising that acting only tapped into a fraction of my creative potential, I transitioned behind the camera in my late teens.
Today, I channel that early performance experience into a deep understanding of character and narrative, maintaining a respect for the craft of acting while driving projects forward as a visionary storyteller.
My Experience
I have recently graduated from the University of Salford with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Film Production. In 2021, I co-founded Legacy Cinema, which has now transitioned into Vjestica Productions.
My directorial portfolio includes the resourceful, £35-budget music documentary Black Note (2022), the documentary INSIDE: Narrative of Our Journey (2023), and the dramas Crossfade (2025), Fragment of Us (2025).
Beyond independent film, I have proven my adaptability in the commercial and freelance sectors, producing media and content for clients including the NHS, the British Film Institute (BFI), The Hallé Orchestra, and Britain’s Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay.
My Skills
I offer a rare blend of entrepreneurial resourcefulness and comprehensive technical skill, making me an exceptional asset for junior roles in Film & TV Production, Content Creation, and Media Marketing. Operating my own production company from a young age has equipped him with a holistic understanding of the media pipeline, from initial pitching and writing, to directing, cinematography, and post-production editing.
- Versatility & Technical Proficiency: With credited experience as a director, editor, producer, and Director of Photography (such as my work on Fragments Of Us), I can seamlessly slot into multiple departments or handle end-to-end content creation for digital marketing campaigns.
- Resourcefulness & Project Management: Having produced award-winning content on micro-budgets, I know how to maximise resources, solve problems creatively, and deliver high-quality assets under tight constraints.
- Talent Direction: My background as an actor gives me a unique advantage on set, allowing me to communicate effectively, run efficient shoots, and capture authentic performances.
- Client Collaboration: My freelance work with major organisations like the NHS demonstrates my ability to translate client briefs into engaging multimedia content.
Driven by a deep, analytical passion for film history and contemporary media, I am a collaborative, highly adaptable professional ready to bring hands-on experience and a fresh, disciplined perspective to any production or marketing team.
